The REACH project is an initiative designed to empower young people across Europe and beyond by increasing their participation in volunteer, leadership, and decision-making roles within the Sport for All movement. Through the creation of a Youth Task Force, REACH provides young people aged 18-30 with opportunities to take on leadership roles and become change agents in their communities.

Objectives

The REACH project aims to:

  • Understand the needs and expectations of young people (18-30 years old) in Sport for All.
  • Gather and analyze data on youth engagement to shape future strategies and policies.
  • Empower youth and organizations through capacity-building initiatives.
  • Create platforms that support youth-led, innovative Sport for All programs.
  • Establish "Youth for Youth" mentorship programs to foster peer-to-peer learning.
  • Develop a sustainable, replicable model for long-term youth engagement.
Activities & Key Deliverables

Through hands-on learning and strategic collaboration, the REACH project will deliver tangible tools and frameworks to enhance youth engagement in Sport for All including:

  • Literature Review – Mapping existing youth engagement strategies in Sport for All.
  • Analysis of Sport for All organizations’ policies on youth engagement.
  • Youth Engagement Charter for Sport for All organizations, alongside a Mentorship Charter.
  • Enhanced CLC modules strengthening youth-focused capacity building.
  • Collection of good practices from 9 Community Actions.

Youth Task Force

The Youth Task Force is the driving force behind the REACH Project, bringing together 16 young leaders from across nine countries to shape the future of youth engagement in Sport for All. Selected through an Open Call application process, these changemakers will contribute their voices, leadership, and experiences to promote inclusion, empower youth, and create lasting impact.

📌 More details on the selection process will be announced in April.

As part of the Task Force, these young leaders will receive full funding to take part in an immersive training program designed to equip them with the skills, networks, and tools to drive meaningful change in their communities. Through interactive workshops, mentorship, and hands-on training, they will gain practical experience, connect with experts, and develop solutions to strengthen youth engagement in Sport for All.
