Organising Committee of the 28th TAFISA World Congress 2023 Formed

The 28^th TAFISA World Congress 2023 will take place in Düsseldorf, Germany, and its Organising Committee has been officially constituted during a kick-off meeting on 27^th January 2021.

The Congress will be hosted by the German Olympic Sport Federation (DOSB) in partnership with the State of North-Rhine Westphalia (NRW) and the State Sports Federation NRW (LandesSportBund). 

Initial members of the Organising Committee include:

• Andreas Silbersack, Vice President, DOSB (Chair)
• Wolfgang Baumann, Secretary General, TAFISA (Member)
• Bernhard Schwank, Head of Sport Department, State of North-Rhine Westphalia (Member)
• Christoph Niessen, Secretary General, State Sports Federation NRW (Member)

More members will be appointed in the coming weeks and months. 

The Organising Committee will be supported in the organisation of the Congress by a “project group” whose initial members are:
