TAFISA President Prof. Dr. Ju-ho Chang was invited as a speaker to the National Sport for All Development Seminar in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on January 18, 2018. The Seminar, a joint initiative between the Ministry of Sports of Malaysia and the Malaysian Sport for All Council (MASFA), aimed to bring stakeholders from both the public and the private sectors together to realise the importance of Physical Activity and Active Lifestyle, support the National Sports Policy, draw inspiration from International programmes promoting physical activity and develop a set of recommendations from stakeholders on how Sport for All and Physical Activity can be further promoted and encouraged in Malaysia. The event's media coverage provided a great opportunity to raise awareness and educate the public on the importance of an active lifestyle. 320 participants from all over Malaysia, thus, joined the event, representing the NOC, Ministry of Sports, various Sports Councils, NGOs and academics. Workshops were organised as part of the event, to gather concrete feedback and practical recommendations that will help MASFA and its President  Dato' Suroya Selamat shape programmes for the years to come.

TAFISA President Chang was the next day welcomed at the Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) and met with Dato’ Low Beng Choo, the Secretary General of OCM. President Chang’s visit to Malaysia was coordinated by MASFA's Deputy President Dato’ Sarjit Singh Sekhon.
