The Certified Leadership Course (CLC) Level 2 in Trinidad & Tobago may have concluded, but for the 25 participants, the journey is just beginning! Over the next year, these newly trained leaders will bring their knowledge to life, launching community-driven projects that address key societal challenges through Sport for All.

This initiative is supported by TAFISA and the SUCCEED framework, powered by IOC through Olympism 365, reinforcing the role of sport in fostering social inclusion, health promotion, and youth development.

A Lasting Impact

With a solid foundation in education, empowerment, and collaboration, these projects will create sustainable change, making sport more accessible, inclusive, and impactful for all. Each initiative is designed to address specific community needs, from youth engagement and elderly well-being to health awareness and digital advocacy.

Spotlight on the Five Community Projects

  • Show Me Your Motion: A national social media campaign promoting Sport for All and physical activity. The initiative will use influential voices and group members to share the benefits of an active lifestyle.
  • Let’s Play: A school-based program engaging 40 young individuals in adopting and maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle through structured activities and education.
  • 9X Better: An initiative designed to encourage inactive students to participate in nine different sports, each aimed at fostering a unique positive social outcome.
  • Live Golden: A well-being initiative for elderly residents in care homes, incorporating cultural activities such as music, dance, gardening, and storytelling to enhance their physical, mental, and social well-being.
  • Code Red: A health education initiative addressing menstrual health stigma, providing young girls, teachers, and male role models with comprehensive knowledge and open discussions on menstrual health and well-being.

Looking Ahead

These projects are only the beginning of what will become long-term, sustainable initiatives. TAFISA looks forward to seeing these leaders make a tangible impact in their communities, using Sport for All as a tool for change. We congratulate all participants and are eager to support their progress in the months ahead!

We extend our congratulations to all CLC Level 2 participants and look forward to seeing their work come to life in the coming months.
