The success story of the Catwalk Campaign, led by the Catmosphere Foundation with TAFISA and numerous partners’ support, is not over.
Through annual worldwide walks dedicated to big cat conservation, the campaign achieved a major milestone in 2024—the official recognition of the International Day of the Arabian Leopard by the United Nations, now observed on 10 February each year. Catmosphere hosted Conservation Conversations on 10 February at the Huxley Theatre, Zoological Society of London, to celebrate the second year of this international day, The event, led by HRH Princess Reema bint Bandar Al Saud, Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to the United States, gathered experts to discuss how to encourage meaningful connections for conservation and restore harmony between humanity and biodiversity. Among the distinguished attendees was TAFISA President Wolfgang Baumann, who contributed to discussions on transforming passive care into active solutions for wildlife and the environment.
At TAFISA, we recognize the vital link between physical activity and sustainability. We continue to seek innovative ways to integrate Sport for All with conservation efforts—an essential pillar of Mission 2030: For a Better World Through Sport for All.
