Happy Sports China Group and TAFISA Connect in Frankfurt

On the occasion of the TAFISA European Sport for All Forum, a delegation from the Happy Sports China Group led by Founder and Chairwoman Ms Zhou Li traveled to Frankfurt and met up with TAFISA representatives to explore potential collaboration. Over the past decade, the Happy Sports Group China Group has been promoting physical activity and sport participation across Chinese cities by building play parks where local communities can be active. 

Building upon their recent fruitful exchanges, TAFISA and Happy Sports China Group have signed a Letter of Intent to further explore how the Active City concept can benefit communities and cities in China to promote health and well-being. TAFISA thanks the Happy Sports China Group for their visit and is looking forward to continuing the conversation on future collaboration. 

BACKGROUND

Happy Sports (China) Group takes "Global Sports · City Future" as its dream blueprint and deeply cultivates the sustainable development ecology of sports cities. They are working together with over 42 regions, cities, and rural areas in China to build more than 120 innovative sports parks, and are striving to explore new paths for innovative development of active cities with "sports+" as the core value. Ms. Zhou Li, the founder of the group, initiated the "Happy Sports China Plan" in 2014, advocating the value of "making everyone can enjoy sports". Over the past decade, the 'Happy Sports China Plan' has become an influential platform for innovative development of mass sports, innovative construction of sports parks, innovative development of sports cities, and innovative promotion of international sports and cultural exchanges. It has been unanimously recognized by the Chinese government, media, industry organizations, and academic organizations.
