2 weeks to go until the 7th TAFISA World Sport for All Games!

The TAFISA Games are around the corner. From June 18^th to 24^th, join us to a virtual festival of Traditional Sports and Games and New Sports! 

For 7 days, an online streaming and broadcasting programme will showcase the best that Traditional Sports and Games (TSG) and New Sports and Games have to offer to the world, in an online festival that will take the TAFISA World Sport for All Games to a new standard – celebrating your cultures, traditions, sports and games in a way never seen before. The program, which will last 6 hours every day and be repeated at four different times to ensure a 24-hour coverage that addresses all time zones, will blend Opening and Closing Ceremonies, online workshops and debates, videos of Traditional Sports and Games and New Sports from across the world and Portugal, a schools day, expert interviews, chat rooms, webinars and many more elements.

The Games’ international conference will gather 20 speakers across 5 sessions that will be broadcast between June 19^th – 23^rd – one session a day. The key themes that will be addressed are:

• Session 1: Keeping people connected – sport innovation and sport diplomacy as key pillars
• Session 2: Diversifying the sport offer: new sports and disciplines support sport participation
• Session 3: Healthy lifestyles for all – contributions from Sport for All
• Session 4: Traditional Sports and Games – a source of inspiration for the future of sports participation?
• Session 5: Sport and physical activity in cultural heritage environments.
