On Wednesday 1 September, TAFISA hosted the 8th Europe in Action project partner meeting. The partners have been meeting virtually every eight weeks which has provided pivotal moments for discussion regarding the various work packages and developments within the project.
Now past the half-way point, the project is in full swing with the ongoing design and development of thirteen non-formal educational modules which will be offered as a free and accessible tool for the Sport for All community. Each module will provide practical knowledge to better succeed at promoting HEPA and Sport for All, as well as empower all stakeholders across the Sport for All Movement. The Educational Modules will be piloted through specially designed workshops to be held in 2022 – stay tuned for your chance to participate.
Alongside the Educational Modules, the partners have been collecting good practices to promote via an outline database, accessible here: https://www.europe-in-action.org/good-practices. The Good Practice Database gathers innovative actions (campaigns, events, initiatives, strategies, etc.) which have been successful and can be transferred to other parts of the world. The practices are related to the 13 themes which have been selected to build the educational modules and you can access the practices either by theme or by region.
The project partners will meet again in October to start planning for the launch of the Educational Modules as well as roadmap the project’s events in 2022.
