From 11 to 14 March, 2025, Rwanda, through the Rwanda National Olympic and Sports Committee (RNOSC), took the next step in its journey with the TAFISA Certified Leadership Course (CLC) Level 2. Building on the success of Level 1, passionate graduates gathered to present and refine their inclusive Sport for All community projects—initiatives designed to create lasting social impact across the country. These projects will be implemented between April and December, reinforcing Rwanda’s commitment to using sport as a driver for social development.

With a high level of engagement, participants focused on urban wellness, aligning their strategies with Rwanda’s renowned Car-Free Day and other health-centered initiatives. Additionally, they explored innovative approaches such as:

  • Creating digital communities through Sport for All, fostering engagement beyond physical spaces.
  • Integrating cultural heritage into sports, preserving traditions while promoting active lifestyles.
  • Maximizing value, impact, and resource management, ensuring sustainable growth of Sport for All initiatives.

This next phase of the TAFISA CLC program underscores Rwanda’s dedication to inclusive sports for social change, blending traditional and modern strategies to enhance participation, well-being, and sustainability. With unwavering enthusiasm and a shared vision for progress, the Rwandan CLC cohort is set to drive meaningful transformation within their communities and beyond.
