On 2-3 May, a TAFISA delegation comprised of President Wolfgang Baumann (Germany), along with TAFISA Vice-President Denis Karakasis, from the Ministry of Culture and Sports/General Secretariat of Sports, Greece, and Board Member Jacqueline Kronenburg, from the Knowledge Centre for Sport & Physical Activity, Netherlands, joined the EU Sport Forum held in Stockholm as part of the Swedish Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The 2-day event was opened on 2 May by EU Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth Mariya Gabriel, joined by Swedish Minister for Social Affairs and Health Jakob Forssmed and European MP as well as co-chair of European Parliament Sport group Tomasz Frankowski. Panel discussions on topics such as "Women in sport: from grassroots to leadership" and "Integrity in sport" composed the programme along with prestigious keynotes and a diversity of parallel sessions, making for an inspiring event which also featured the ceremony for the #BeInclusive EU Sport Awards.

The Forum also provided great opportunities for exchanging with key stakeholders and the TAFISA delegation met with ENGSO President Stefan Bergh to share about the current partnership between both organisations and explore venues for future cooperation.
