The Indigenous Games Festival will be held on September 23rd to 28th, 2018 at the Seshego stadium in Limpopo by SRSA (Sports and Recreation South Africa).  This festival has been held every year since its inception in 2003 with the objective to preserve and enrich the South African traditional culture for future generations.

The 9 provinces will compete daily in 9 Indigenous Sporting Codes games, namely: Kgati, Morabaraba, Ncuva, Khokho, Dibeke, Iintonga, Diketo, Jukskei, and Drie Stokkies.  The Indigenous Games Festival also celebrates South Africa’s cultural fashion, cuisine, arts & crafts, and music.  The event is free as no cover charge is required, allowing whoever interested to enjoy this festival.
