On Wednesday 7 July, TAFISA hosted the 7th Europe in Action project partner meeting via Zoom. This meeting presented an opportunity for the partners to come together during a pivotal half-way point of the project. All 9 partners were in attendance and remain committed and motivated to fulfil the intended outputs of the project, even with the disruption occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Currently the main focus of the project is to continue with the design and development of 13 non-formal educational modules, which will be piloted throughout 2022 and thereafter offered as a free and accessible resource for Sport for All stakeholders. The educational modules will fill an existing gap in terms of non-formal education in the field of grassroots sport, educate sport leaders and promote HEPA and Sport for All across Europe and beyond.
Alongside the modules, a collection of good practices in relation to the 13 themes is ongoing as well as specific regional approaches for each of the 5 regions are created for the purpose of the project (Northern Europe, Eastern Europe, Southern Europe, Western Europe and the Balkans + Turkey).
You can access further information on the project here - http://europe-in-action.org - and access the good practices database to find helpful resources.
With the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the project partners are continuing to meet virtually to ensure a smooth progress of all activities associated with the Europe in Action project, with the next meeting planned for September 2021.
