TAFISA represented at Iranian Sport for All Federation International Congress

On 16 February, the Iranian Sport for All Federation organized the International Congress of Sport for All Development, in the capital city of Tehran.

With over 400 attendees participating both virtually and in person, the event provided a platform for engaging presentations and discussions on two key themes outlined in the TAFISA Mission 2030: Governance, Leadership & Integrity, and Gender Equality. Janez Sodrznik, TAFISA Treasurer, and Patrik Perosa, TAFISA Europe Chair, delivered insightful presentations on these topics.

The event, led by Ali Khalili, head of the Iranian Sports Federation, and Iman Mottagian Nejad, Vice President of the Iranian Sport for All Federation, aimed to strengthen the national commitment to activate citizens through their network of instructors, coaches, physical education teachers, and other stakeholders working in the field of Sport for All.

TAFISA members from Iran are committed to organizing similar international events in the future to foster knowledge exchange, sharing experiences, and facilitating the exchange of innovative ideas within the Sport for All community.
