On Thursday 10th June 2021, 13 FLOT mentees from 6 countries undertook an examination and were presented with a certification on the completion of the IOC-supported TAFISA Certified Leadership Course (CLC) in Sport for All. The international programme provided knowledge and training on key components of the Global Sport for All Movement to assist the mentees on their journey to become the next women leaders in Sport for All.

The course commenced on 25th March and comprised 10 weeks of lectures and interactive group work for the mentees to learn from a variety of international speakers on various relevant topics, which they could then relate to their own setting. Every Thursday the mentees attended lectures on topics such as the Global Philosophy of Sport for All, Programme & Event Management, Active Cities, Marketing & Public Relations, the UN SDGs, Sport & Tourism, Traditional Sports & Games and others, to expand their knowledge and understanding of the Sport for All systems around the world.

The CLC was led by the TAFISA office with guest lectures from international expert speakers, such as TAFISA President Prof. Dr. Ju-Ho Chang (Korea), TAFISA Secretary General Mr Wolfgang Baumann (Germany), Mr Patrik Perosa (Slovenia), Prof. Miha Lesjak (Slovenia), Prof. Henry Daut (Philippines), Ms Kirby Phillips (South Africa) and Prof. Dusan Mitic (Serbia).
