TAFISA Joins Aspen Institute Project Play Summit 2020 20 October 2020 On 13-16 October, the Aspen Institute held its Project Play Summit 2020. This year the annual event was entirely virtual, for the first time since the Summit was launched in 2015. 2nd Europe in Action Project Partner Meeting Held on Zoom 02 October 2020 On Wednesday 16th September, TAFISA hosted the second meeting of the Europe in Action project online via Zoom. Launched in January this year and co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, Europe in Action is undertaking an innovative and specialised approach to transfer fundamental and topical European key policy areas in the field of grassroots sport into priorities for practical action. 2020 Yokohama Sport Conference Goes Online 14 September 2020 The 2020 Yokohama Sport Conference, initially scheduled in Yokohama, Japan on 8-12 September, has been held entirely online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Held under the theme "Contributing to a Sustainable World", the Conference featured keynotes, symposia and lectures with interventions from over 80 speakers on topics ranging from Sport and the Sustainable Development Goals, Women and Sport, Sports Tourism and Sport Development among many others.
