On the morning of Saturday 21 May, the third Made to Play Coaching Girls Guide workshop of the global series took place, co-organised by TAFISA and Nike Made to Play and in partnership with the Caribbean Association of National Olympic Committees. This workshop received over 100 registrations (the highest of the series so far) from 17 countries from across the Caribbean and neighbouring countries. 

The online Workshop “Sport for All & Education” hosted in partnership with Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) successfully took place on 28 April and recorded 190 registrations. The Workshop was the seventh event of the TAFISA Mission 2030 Workshop Series.  

On 4 – 5 May 2022, 7 National Table Tennis Federations took part in the INTERACT Pilot Training in Sport for All Development. The training was hosted by the ITTF Foundation in Leipzig, Germany.

On 20th April, Knowledge Centre for Sport & Physical Activity Netherlands hosted the inaugural piloting of an Educational Module in The Hague – the European capital of sport.

Created in 2015, the #BeActive Awards aim to reward and give visibility to projects and initiatives that have successfully promoted sport and physical activity across Europe. It contributes to the HealthyLifeStyle4All initiative and to the promotion of substainable and green sport. 

We are happy to announce that “Sport for All & Education”, the seventh in the Mission 2030 Workshop Series, will be hosted online on 28 April, 12:00 – 14:00 (UTC+2/CET) by TAFISA and Liverpool John Moores University.

At the end of January, Oaks Consultancy released the second Fundraising in Sport for Development: State of the Sector Report, which benchmarks fundraising performance and sets out to inform the future of fundraising across the sport for development sector.

Less than three months before the opening day of the 27th TAFISA World Congress, the Organising Committee led by its president Msc. Janez Sodržnik met at the Slovenian Olympian Educational Center in Ljubljana.
