You can now register to take part in the Global Design Challenge 2022, with the challenge running from 10-14 October 2022.

sportanddev has released a public call for proposals for organisations to apply to become the host of the International Platform on Sport and Development (sportanddev).

In the call, sportanddev mentions: 

Launched by TAFISA Member the International Table Soccer Federation (ITSF), the project “100 Foosball for Schools” aims at giving access to physical activity for all youth, by developing and expanding the daily practice of Table Soccer in schools. To reach this goal, the ITSF supports the implementation of 100 foosball tables in 100 schools in each participating countries.

On 1-4 September, the Pilates Heritage Congress was held in Mönchengladbach, Germany.

Kathy Corey, President of World Pilates Confederation (WPC), a TAFISA Member organisation, gave a very gracious welcome and appreciated the presence of 131 outstanding coaches from 36 countries. 

The online Workshop “Healthy Lifestyle for All" successfully took place on 28 April and recorded 251 registrations from 70 countries. The Workshop was the eight event of the TAFISA Mission 2030 Workshop Series.

Exploring and pushing limits

For me, the summer is a period of exploring boundaries and pushing them. And all too often this provides me with insights for sport and exercise in the Netherlands.

On Wednesday 3 August, TAFISA hosted the 16th Europe in Action project partner meeting which was attended by all nine organizations. The partners have been meeting virtually every eight weeks which has provided pivotal moments for discussion regarding the various work packages and developments of the project’s outputs.
